Jamblichus (c. 245–c. 325 CE)

Jamblichus was a Syrian Neoplatonist philosopher and a student of Porphyry, the most influential Neoplatonist of his time. He is best known for his work On the Mysteries of the Egyptians, Chaldeans, and Assyrians, which is considered to be one of the most important works of Neoplatonism.
